Connecting a foundry

From your stock to an answer in six steps.

The service computes exactly what the alloygen command does: the service and the command line cannot disagree. Below are the real request and answer from the example.

Data under reviewPilot, under review: grade limits from secondary sources

  1. Request

    The foundry sends stock, furnace and target

    A grade or your own limits, charge stock with prices and lot certificates, the furnace (from the catalogue or your own with recovery) and tap mass. Your stock replaces the alloygen demo stock.

    metallurgist or your ERP

    POST /v1/charge_calc
    {
     "target": {
      "grade": "40X"
     },
     "tap_mass_kg": 800,
     "date": "2026-10-05",
     "materials": {
      "FEMN": {
       "kind": "ferroalloy",
       "lead": "Mn",
       "price_per_t": 82000,
       "weigh_step_kg": 0.5,
       "composition": {
        "C": 0.5,
        "Si": 2,
        "Mn": 85,
        "P": 0.3,
        "S": 0.03
       }
      },
      "…": "+4"
     }
    }
  2. Key

    A foundry key; the database keeps only a hash

    The operator issues the key and shows it once. The service stores a SHA-256 of the key and the call log; stock and prices are not kept between requests. Browser requests are rejected.

  3. Channel

    HTTP or MCP — the same calculation

    HTTP with the key in a header for ERP and MES, or MCP for an AI assistant. On the foundry's own machine MCP works without the service.

    integrator

    PathWhat
    POST /v1/charge_calccharge: additions, analysis, cost
    POST /v1/heat_treatmentheat-treatment routes with predictions and checks
    POST /v1/passportheat passport or a stamped draft
    GET /v1/usageyour foundry's monthly report
    POST /v1/mcpMCP for a remote assistant, same key
  4. Answer

    An envelope: result, assumptions, warnings, sources

    Every answer says what the calculation rests on and what is not verified. There are no partner handoffs: handoff is always null.

    }
  5. Accounting

    Only a completed call counts

    Invalid input and refused calculations do not use the quota. A monthly report per foundry, as CSV for accounting.

    operator and accounting

  6. Pilot

    Three foundries on their own data

    A calculation is a forecast, not a certificate; grade limits come from secondary sources. The pilot removes the “made-up scrap” and “reference recovery”: we work on your stock and your furnace.

    your foundry and us

Pricing — on request

The owner has not set plans or quotas yet. The pilot runs with three foundries on their own data; terms are agreed with each.

  • Pilot

    A trial key for the pilot: charge, heat treatment and draft passports on your stock and your furnace.

    on request
  • Foundry

    A monthly subscription for one foundry. Only a completed call counts: an input error does not use the quota.

    on request
  • Group of foundries

    Several furnaces and sites under one contract, a monthly report for each.

    on request
  • Pay per call

    For ERP and MES integrators: no monthly cap, billed by actual calls.

    on request

There is no payment provider yet: invoices are issued manually from the monthly call report.

What is not verified yet — we say so

The engine adds these warnings to every answer until the cause is fixed. A calculation on reference coefficients looks exactly like one on calibrated ones, so we do not hide them.

  • GRADE_SECONDARY_SOURCE

    Grade limits

    Checked against secondary sources, not a purchased copy of the GOST/DSTU text. Not enough for a certificate — the pilot runs as “a calculation is a forecast”.

  • RECOVERY_UNCALIBRATED

    Your furnace's recovery

    A reference value for now. Once your furnace has a history of expected vs actual heats, the engine calibrates it itself.

  • PRICE_UNSOURCED

    Charge prices and tariff

    Without a price list or invoice the cost is a demo. Add a dated price and the warning goes away.

  • PASSPORT_FORM_UNVERIFIED

    Passport form

    Fields come from open descriptions of EN 10204; the standard has not been bought yet. Without a sample analysis a passport is always a draft.

Connect your business: key, HTTP and MCP

coming soon

There is no public access: the service works with a key we issue after a contract or for a pilot. The same calculations — for your ERP, CRM or AI assistant.

MCP address (key required, not live yet)https://mcp.furnigen.app/alloygen/mcp
  1. Key: issued by the operator after a contract or for a pilot and shown once; only its hash is stored.
  2. HTTP: the key goes in a request header — for ERP, CRM and your own scripts; the answer is the same envelope with sources.
  3. MCP: the same address and the same key — for an AI assistant in Claude or ChatGPT.

The server opens with the gateway launch. To get a key, write to us — see the Contact page.
